BC-8165 Urethane Elastomer
BC-8165 is a low-viscosity, rapid-setting, rigid urethane compound; it has an 8–10 minute working time. This system will cure quickly to a hard, tough, impact-resistant casting. BC-8165 is non-sensitive to moisture after cure and, if stage pours are required, it will readily bond to itself. BC-8165 is recommended for thin-wall model and prototype applications where a “thermoplastic feel” is desired. The heat resistance of BC-8165 is 135°F; however, a heat resistance of 150°F can be achieved by about 2 hours post cure at 150°F.
